You’ll be responsible for driving our influencer and ambassador partnerships offering, with a focus on securing a high volume of top-quality briefs. With a focus on volume as well as quality of opportunity, you’ll lead a team and work closely with clients to answer their immediate tactical partnership needs. In parallel, you’ll collaborate with Crush’s Head of Growth to create the ideal circumstances for which to offer the wider Crush creative agency services. Your ultimate goal will be to convert tactical customers into long term clients, in line with the Crush ‘Value’ targets. As our Head of Partnerships, you’ll also work alongside the Crush MD to develop the ‘Crush way’ to ensure that we’re driving and championing a progressive, differentiated ‘best in class’ approach to our work, whilst positioning Crush as leaders and advocates within the Partnerships space.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide a clear vision and work alongside the Crush MD to define the strategic direction of Crush’s Partnership offering
• Use an expert understanding of the industry to continually review and improve Crush’s proposition across the Partnership service stream
• Capitalise on existing Crush connections as well as identify and build new networks of prospective clients to grow and enhance Crush’s local and global reputation
• Be a passionate advocate and a technical lead for the Crush CRM
• Act as a line manager and mentor to the Senior Partnership Managers and Partnership Manager, providing expert guidance to ensure they reach their professional potential and exceed their performance targets
• Provide the Crush MD with sales and KPI reports to predict and analyse performance in conjunction with departmental and individual goals, identifying and refining KPIs where necessary
• Use an innovative approach to data analytics to ensure your team targets new and existing clients with highly personalised solutions and messages
• Track and analyse data to improve the Partnerships team’s overall response and conversion rates, in turn directly and positively impacting ROI
• Have some oversight of department budgets – managing financial information as well as new business and marketing spend to make informed commercial decisions
• Suggest improvements to the agency’s pitch process, ensuring accompanying materials are kept up to date and prospect feedback is acted on promptly to optimise impact

Person Specification:

• Proven track record of achieving business growth within a fast-paced setting
• Be an excellent verbal and written communicator, with a natural affinity for agency storytelling
• Possess a strong business acumen and a natural ability to solve Partnership and New Business challenges
• Be confident in knowing when to make an informed decision to say no to a client brief
• Display gravitas for internal and external engagement and a strong ability to influence – be skilled at establishing and building empathetic and commercial relationships
• Be a true advocate for Crush and use a genuine passion as part of your sales methodology
• Possess a strong understanding of media and advertising industries, with demonstrable experience of orchestrating and selling partnerships as well as digital-first, cross-channel campaigns
• Have a passion for music, entertainment, sport and lifestyle trends – all the things we care about
