IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, unveiled modifications to the subscription model . According to the changes, effective April 15, only paying users with “verified” accounts on Twitter Blue, costing £11 per month, will be eligible to be featured in For You recommendations. Furthermore, non-paying users will lose their poll-voting privileges. Musk stated that the changes aim to tackle the bot problem on the platform. Despite concerns about misinformation and harmful content, Musk reassured users that Twitter will be the only platform they can trust. Additionally, Twitter will no longer provide its legacy verification service, which means users with a blue tick will lose their verified badge.
