This DJ will deliver personalised playlists for each user, including a carefully curated selection of songs, along with AI-generated commentary on each track in a realistic voice. For the first iteration of this feature, Spotify is using the voice of its own Head of Cultural Partnerships, Xavier “X” Jernigan. Initially, the AI-powered DJ feature will be available exclusively to premium users in Canada and the US, with plans to roll out to other regions in the near future.
